For the past twenty-two years, the Illinois Chamber Music Festival has been offering a superior chamber music experience to high school and college students coupled with world-class performers.
Please join us for this summer’s Festival slated for July 7-26 as we continue to grow and present the highest quality chamber music to Central Illinois. The camp for strings, piano, winds, and harp will be held at Illinois Wesleyan University (IWU) in Bloomington, IL.
July 7-26 In-person chamber music program at IWU. The schedule includes daily chamber music coaching, rehearsals/lessons, elective classes (mime & movement, musical theatre, music theory/history, international dance, tennis), and performances by students and faculty.
This program is designed for young musicians who wish to participate in chamber music groups. Cellists will have the unique experience of performing in cello ensembles (cello quartets, cello trios, cello choir) in addition to their regular chamber music groups.
The summer concert series offers performances by faculty, guest artists, and students. All concerts and masterclasses are free and open to the public. Please see our Performances Tab for a list of upcoming concerts.
